Trip To Microsoft Visitors Center

So we took a trip to Redmond today and walked around Microsoft until we found the Visitors Center. It was really fun to play around with Microsoft Surface – wouldn’t mind having one of those setups to just play with world maps on. The entrance however was rather corporate and foreboding – felt like I should be frisked and strip searched and I didn’t feel the geek love in there. But we left a lot of the laptops in the visitors center sitting with foofoomayo.com on them and broke the xbox that was on a big screen… So a cavalcade of fun!

We Made Macaroni & Cheese Pizza!

So you just need a few things to make your own macaroni and cheese pizza – an item advertised on commercials for a pizza joint that’s not even in Washington or California it seems. Start off with a nice Safeway cheese pizza – this was a pepperoni but we took off the pepperonis and I ate them along with some Oreos and got feeling a little funky.

A big bag of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

Finally, two boxes of the deluxe Safeway macaroni and cheese. Notice a theme here? Yeah – we went to Safeway.

So cook the pizza halfway – about 9 minutes at 425 degrees. Then, ladle on a crapload of macaroni and cheese and then cover in a soft, warm fuzzy blanket of shredded sharp cheese.

Bake for a final 10 minutes and then revel in the glory of the pizza – the macaroni and cheese pizza!Eat that pizza! Go on – eat it! By the way, it is good reheated the next morning in the microwave.

Snoqualmie Falls

So for our 4 month anniversary, we went up to Snoqualmie Falls. Made a couple sandwiches and brought some soda, checked out the gift shop too. Was fun!
